Modern Steel

Longueuil

One of our biggest challenges for this project was to select the right landscaping materials, because the house was constructed with multiple building materials. These choices needed to harmonize not only with the house, but also create an attractive, coherent whole. The chosen materials play a supporting role and the rusted metal panel acts as a focal point in the composition.

The landscaping offsets the buildings’ volume and settles it perfectly in its environment.  Contemporary yet with a timeless quality, it makes the façade more inviting and enhances the property’s value. The three square planters on the staircase landings add pops of seasonal color.

This project was awarded a Special mention in the category Façades invitantes (over $20,000) of the 40th Landscaping Competition of the APPQ
